PISCEAN TIDES: An Introduction

 Pisces Woman, Cosmic Writer & Metaphysical Enthusiast 

     So, here's my truth: I'm an American in my twenty somethings who has passed through the typical rigmarole. I've graduated college with a degree in business, pledged a Sorority, worked corporate and started and terminated a small business. I've gone purely vegetarian for 6 years straight, failed at vegan"ism" and have grown tired and annoyed with the fuss of social media - I've disabled 3 accounts. Let's hope the flame on this one burns eternally (or at least a year). I've only seriously dated one lucky fella who was quite the catch - but the relationship sank sluggishly thanks to my Piscean tides. They refuse to quit crashing into reality. 

    I'm ecstatic over the invention of online literary resources, but I'd smile through the drudging journey of visiting the library any day! That's right! I'd choose driving a half hour, zipping into a parking space, climbing the 10 steps to the library entryway and the added temperature check (thanks COVID-19) just to get a whiff of aged, yellowing pages and to sink into the overwhelming silence of the literary Graveyard.  I'm the proud millennial still stashing several library cards in my crossbody bag. Swag.

    I ooze and gush over astrological natal charts, African spirituality and the healing arts. Crystals, colors, Tarot, Vodun and dream interpretation all have my utmost attention, right after I clock out of my 9 to 5. 

    Suspecting that I was certainly pitched onto the wrong planet, I've always backed into the shadowy corners of my surroundings, life. I prefer to read my dreams than hustle for a dollar. I find value in recognizing and abiding by the mood imposed on the day verses forging my plans and ambition onto the moment; rearranging expressions through poetry, perfecting the Feng Shui in my tiny castle and arranging fresh flowers for my altar. 

    I've struggled to stuff my Pisces vibes into a worldly pot that has no vacancy for any of my flavor! There's days I could voluntarily submerge myself in the Gulf of Mexico and remain in hiding indefinitely to study with Olokun! 

    Not today! Today I'm riding the wave and starting a simple blog to serve as the ultimate  resource for Pisces women and those who care about them. If this reaches your shore, I pray it aids in your direction, inspiration and healing.
